Nature provides Lübker Golf Resort® with an added bonus. The area is covered by a thick layer of shifting sand reminiscent of the Scottish links-courses which are also laid out on sand.The sandy substratum provides ideal drainage conditions and a superb playing turf. According to Chief Design Officer Bruce Charlton from Robert Trent Jones II, there are very few places in the world with such a perfect foundation for a golf course.
In the large and varying natural terrain, the course architects have designed three 9 hole courses in a clover-shaped formation plus a 9 hole Academy course which combined together create 36 world-class holes. Along with Robert Trent Jones II’s visionary “listen to nature” philosophy, the course utilises the surrounding natural area to create the perfect environment to challenge golfers of all levels.
